Every template on this page:

What is an agency profile?
An agency profile is a short company profile for a marketing, advertising, creative or digital agency. It introduces the agency, its services and team, and proves its value with client work and results. Agencies send it before a pitch, attach it to tenders and RFPs, and share it with new leads after a first call.
Some agencies call it a credentials deck or creds deck. The content is the same: who you are, what you do, who you have done it for and what happened as a result.
What to include in an agency profile
Here is how the sections usually map onto a 12-page template like the ones below:
- Cover: logo, agency name and a one-line positioning statement.
- About us: when you started, where you are based, team size and what makes you different.
- Services: strategy, creative, media, social, content, web. Group them into three to five clear offers.
- Clients: a page of logos, ideally from well-known brands or from the prospect’s industry.
- Case studies: two or three campaigns, each with the brief, your idea and the result in numbers.
- Process: how a project runs from brief to report, so clients know what working with you looks like.
- Team: founders and department heads with photos.
- Awards and partners: industry awards, Google or Meta partner badges, memberships.
- Contact and back cover: email, phone, website, portfolio link and social accounts.

Agency profile sample description
The about us page is where most agency profiles say too little or too much. Here is a sample for a fictional advertising agency. Replace the names and numbers with your own.
About Brightline Creative
Brightline Creative is an independent advertising and digital marketing agency founded in 2014. We help consumer brands grow through campaigns that combine creative ideas with performance media, from brand strategy and video production to social media and paid search.
Our team of 30 strategists, designers and media buyers has run more than 200 campaigns for brands in food and beverage, retail, travel and banking. Last year our clients saw an average 38% increase in online sales from campaigns we managed.
What we believe: good ideas should be measurable, and every campaign should be judged by what it did for the client’s business.
The sample works because it says what kind of agency this is, who it works for and what results it gets, all in the first two paragraphs. Leave out generic claims like “passionate team of creatives”. Every agency writes that, so it tells the reader nothing.

Tips by agency type
- Digital marketing agency: lead with numbers clients care about, such as leads, cost per lead, return on ad spend and organic traffic growth. Show the channels you manage.
- Social media agency: show real posts and campaigns, follower and engagement growth, and which platforms you run. A page of content samples sells better than a list of services.
- Advertising agency: put your best campaign first, with the idea, the media plan and the result. Add awards and well-known client logos.
- Creative or design agency: keep the text short and use full-page project images. Three strong projects beat ten small ones.

Frequently asked questions
What should an agency profile include?
An introduction, services, client logos, two or three case studies with results, your process, the team, awards or partner badges, and contact details. See the full list above.
How do I write an advertising agency business profile description?
Say what kind of agency you are and who you work for in the first sentence, then add proof: team size, number of campaigns, industries and one or two results in numbers. Use the sample description above as a starting point.
What is the difference between an agency profile and a portfolio?
A portfolio shows your work. An agency profile shows the whole business: services, team, process and clients, with a few selected projects as proof. Many agencies send the profile first and the full portfolio on request.
Can I edit these templates in Word or Canva?
No. They are Adobe InDesign files (INDD and IDML) with a PDF. You need InDesign to change text, colors and images. Preview photos are not included; use your own or licensed stock photos.
