Interior design catalogue or brochure?
An interior design catalogue lists products: furniture, lighting, decor or materials, each with a photo, name, size, material and price. An interior design brochure sells a service: it introduces a design studio, explains what it does and shows finished projects.
Furniture brands, showrooms and decor shops need a catalogue. Interior designers, decorators and fit-out companies need a brochure or a portfolio. Many businesses that do both, such as a studio with its own furniture line, use a brochure with a few catalogue pages inside.
What to include
In an interior design brochure:
- Cover: studio name, logo and one strong room photo.
- About the studio: your design style, where you work and how long you have been doing it.
- Services: full interior design, styling, renovation, furniture sourcing, consultation.
- Projects: three to five finished rooms, each with before and after photos if you have them.
- Process: from first meeting to handover, so clients know what to expect.
- Team and testimonials: the lead designers, plus a few short quotes from happy clients.
- Contact: phone, email, website, studio address and social accounts.
In an interior or furniture catalogue:
- Cover and a short welcome: the collection name and season.
- Room pages: styled photos that show the pieces together.
- Product pages: photo, name, code, size, materials, colors and price for each item.
- Material and finish swatches: wood, fabric and metal options.
- How to order: showroom address, website, delivery and warranty details.

Design tips for interior catalogues
- Photos come first. Shoot in daylight, keep lines straight, and use the same angle and background for every product shot.
- Leave white space. Interior design is about calm, well-arranged rooms. A crowded catalogue sends the opposite message.
- Show products in a room and on their own. Room shots sell the feeling; clean product shots answer practical questions.
- Give the practical details. Size, material, color options and price, in the same place on every product page.
- Use your brand colors and fonts. Change the template to match your showroom, website and Instagram so the catalogue feels like part of the brand.
- Make a digital version. Export a lighter PDF for email and WhatsApp, and add a QR code that links to your online shop.

Your studio’s style and story, services, three to five finished projects, your process, the team, client testimonials and contact details. See the full list above.
